Building High Performance Teams is for team members from a single organization or individuals who want to learn and take away a proven process and tools for developing highly effective teams

  • Learn the key elements for creating highly effective teams
  • Understand the leader’s role in creating highly effective teams
  • Work through practical exercises in generating personal and team commitment, engagement and accountability that can be employed to generate these same elements in your own teams and organizations
  • Learn and practice tools for giving and receiving highly effective “impact” feedback for generating greater levels of team engagement and holding each other accountable

Participants will engage in individual and small group exercises to deepen the learning and each participant will leave with a workbook including their completed exercises, key learnings, and useful tools to support the application of their learning back to the workplace.

Who Should Attend?

This program is designed for both experienced and new managers/leaders. It is appropriate for anyone who is in a position of leading a team whether it be a team of direct reports, a project team, or an executive team. The program will be most relevant for leaders looking to build a greater sense of team commitment, accountability and performance.

Joel Wilkinson

M.Sc., R.Psych., PCC

Joel is an executive coach, psychologist, and organizational consultant. Throughout his more than 20-year career, Joel held internal leadership and executive roles in addition to providing consulting services to a wide range of public and private organizations nationally and internationally. As a former leader and executive of several organizations in the IT, organizational development, higher education, and workforce development space, Joel has particular expertise in building highly engaged and effective teams, partnership development, operations management and strategic business planning. His approach with clients is to build deeper awareness, ask powerful questions to facilitate new insights in order to move clients to make better choices in the service of achieving more successful outcomes.
